Joshua Tree Outfitters, its employees and lackies are dedicated to providing quality service to everyone. Trad climbers, sport climbers, free soloists, non-climbers and even boulderers will be treated with respect and courtesy.

Deposits, Returns and Refunds

Rentals
We may require a deposit for the value of the equipment you rent at the time you check out the gear. We accept cash, credit card authorization, or a check (with I.D.) for the appropriate amount made out to Joshua Tree Outfitters. Your deposit will be refunded in full when you return all our gear in the same condition in which you received it.
We will provide full refunds on equipment if you cancel before you check out any gear. We will also provide full refunds or replacement for faulty equipment. However, there is no refund for equipment returned early. (We still have to clean and re-inventory everything.)

Shopping Service
We may require a $75.00 credit card deposit on Shopping Service orders. We will refund all of your deposit if you cancel your order more than 48 hours before your scheduled arrival. We will refund 50% of your deposit if you cancel less than 48 hours before your scheduled arrival, so long as we have not done any of your shopping. We will not refund any of your deposit if you cancel after we have already done your shopping. Otherwise, your deposit will be credited toward your total bill when you arrive and pick up all your goodies.
Food items not picked up, and un-opened food items returned to us, will be donated to the local Food Bank. Any opened but useable food items returned to us will be donated to local, needy, dirt bag climbers and similar characters.
