Our Mission is to make your visit to Joshua Tree National Park care-free and memorable by providing top quality services, including rentals, retail, repairs, and only the best rock climbing guides in town. 

We rent all the camping gear you�ll need for a comfortable stay in the Park.  So save those hefty airline fees for the extra luggage that would have been your camping gear or bouldering pad, and rent our top-quality, clean and well-maintained equipment instead!  We have it all from Metolius bouldering pads and Mountain Hardwear tents, sleeping bags and pads, to Coleman stoves, lanterns and coolers, as well as the classic and the new Climbing and Bouldering Guide Books.  (Click here for a complete, printable list of all the gear and our current rental rates.)

We also offer our Kitchen Box , which includes plates, bowls, cups, utensils, pots and pans, cleaning stuff and more.  We�ll even get your groceries, so you can avoid the time and tedium of shopping in an unfamiliar store when all you want to do is get to the Park.  Send us your order and we�ll have it all packed in coolers and dry boxes, ready for you to pick up on your way to your favorite campsite.  (Click here for details about our Shopping Service .)

Joshua Tree Outfitters also retails affordable and durable clothing and accessories to serve your outdoor work and play needs.  We offer burly pants and shorts from Arborwear, comfy recycled cotton t-shirts and sweaters from San Segal, rugged knives from Columbia River Knife and Tool, the world�s finest illumination tools from Surefire, and so much more.  You will also find work by local artists throughout the shop. Finally, we do custom sewing and repair work.  We can breathe new life into your favorite pack, fix the zipper in your tent, and even sew your shoes back together.  We fix and replace buckles and straps, and most everything else that attaches to or holds your gear together.  We can sew everything from the lightest weight fabrics up to ballistic nylon and leather.  Bring us a challenge and see what we can do!

If you forgot it, didn�t think you would need it, TSA confiscated it, or you tore it or broke it, we�ve got you covered.  If we can�t sell it, rent it or fix it for you, you probably don�t need it.  So check us out, and then check out your Joshua Tree National Park.  We are in downtown Joshua Tree right on Highway 62 (a.k.a., 29 Palms Highway), just a block and a half away from Park Boulevard.
